This question lies at the heart of my undergraduate honors thesis, is it the duty of organizations who develop it, the government or the public at large? The paper examines the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders and ultimately argues that the United States must establish a comprehensive National AI policy to ensure ethical and responsible development of AI technologies.
